Jonathan Canalin
Sports have fundamentally shaped Jonathan Canalin’s approach to leadership and professional success. While his athletic foundation began in baseball, his transition to competitive basketball ignited a lifelong passion for coaching and player development.
With over 22 years of experience coaching athletes from youth to the high school level, Jonathan currently serves as an Assistant Coach at Lewis & Clark College. Beyond the court, he is a Certified Personal Trainer specializing in agility and re-acceleration. For the past eight years, he has dedicated himself to athletic performance, utilizing his expertise in strength and speed to emphasize biomechanically sound movement. His dual focus on decision making skills training and peak performance ensures that every athlete he trains is built for long-term success.

Matthew’s coaching philosophy is rooted in a deep family legacy of player development. Inheriting a refined approach to youth mentorship, he specializes in bridging the gap between isolated drills and live-game execution.
As a specialist in technical footwork and precision shooting, Matthew excels at developing "lead guard" mentalities. His curriculum focuses heavily on modern offensive sets, specifically mastering the nuances of ball-screen navigation and elite playmaking.
